Accessibility statement

There is no legal obligation for this site to publish such a statement. It is here anyway – because it would be hard to explain why others should do it if I did not.

State of conformance with the requirements

This website is fully conformant with level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2.

WCAG 2.2 contains all of WCAG 2.1. The site therefore also meets level AA of version 2.1, which the European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) refers to.

Non-accessible content

No barriers are known as of the last test. The model declaration provides for three cases in this section. Here is where each of them stands.

a. Non-compliance with the accessibility requirements

None known.

b. Disproportionate burden

Not claimed. There is no content on this site that I have left inaccessible on grounds of effort.

c. Content not within the scope of the applicable legislation

This site embeds no third-party content: no maps, no videos from other providers, no embedded forms, no PDF documents. Everything here is in my own hands.

What I cannot answer for are the sites I link to. External links are marked as such and open in a new window.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on and last reviewed on . It is based on a self-assessment by Elisabeth Zeilinger, WEBinklusiv.

Testing was done as follows:

  • Every page tested automatically with axe-core, in both the light and the dark colour scheme.
  • Automated check: every page at 320 pixels wide for reflow, and at 200 % zoom: no horizontal scrolling.
  • The whole site operated with the keyboard alone, watching visible focus and focus order.
  • The whole site read out with a screen reader.
  • Contrast ratios measured.
  • All further manual checks needed to test against the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines.

The automated tests run before every release and fail if a violation is introduced.
